The steel required a three coat, epoxy paint system which was completed in-house at Capitol Steel. Additionally, the scope of work included the rough setting of two deodorizer tanks, two water storage tanks, and two overhead cranes including the runways and runway rails.

This bridge replacement required Capitol Steel to fabricate spans weighing 135 tons each and consisting of four 3-plate girders with 70mm thick flanges bent to 12 degrees at both ends. Each span was shipped by rail, fully assembled.
